Poor weather and a low turn-out - and an overbearing security/police presence - turned a potentially memorable festival into a rather subdued one. Still, the bands were good and the Chuggabug got us there (Kelburn Castle,near Largs) without a hitch. A wee run-out for the old banger before we really put her to work this summer...
Interested in your comments about Loch Eck and Puck's Glen as I live in the area. We have a regular and excellent open mic evening at the Whistlefield Inn on the first Friday of each month, the next being Friday 2nd October. You should give it a try if you are ove this way. very mixed musical offerings and great atmosphere.
